Numbers 19:18

Biblical Context

A clean person uses hyssop and water to sprinkle the tent, vessels, and those present, including anyone touched by death, symbolizing ritual purification.

Neville's Inner Vision

In this verse the tent of your life and the vessels of your mind are to be made pure by a conscious act. The 'clean' is a state of awareness—the I AM—that does not identify with deathly thoughts. Hyssop represents faith and a tiny staff of spiritual remembrance; the water symbolizes the living truth that wells up in you. Sprinkling across the tent, the vessels, and even those touched by death signifies that all aspects of your being are to be cleansed by the imaginative act of revision and acceptance of your true, undivided nature. When you consciously apply this purification, you separate from old beliefs of mortality and limitation and invite a wholeness that flows into every room of your life: your body, your mind’s faculties, your relations, and your past identifications. Remember: cleansing occurs as you dwell in the I AM and let imagination do the work, not by ritual alone but by the conviction that you are already purified in consciousness.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and picture a hyssop sprig dipping into a clear living water, then gently sprinkling your mental and physical space—your room, your tools, your body, and your memories—until every corner feels clean. Then affirm: I am purified now, by the I AM.
