From Death to Inner Purity
Numbers 19:11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Biblical Context
The verse says touching the dead body renders one unclean for seven days. This is described as a seven-day period of impurity.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the I AM, death and uncleanness are not external judgments but inner states one identifies with. The dead body stands for a belief or habit you imagine has died and now you must endure a seven-day separation from your desired self. Yet you are not at the mercy of ritual duration; the law speaks in terms of consciousness and duration of attention. When you touch the corpse of any fear or limitation, you momentarily enter a state you call unclean, but this is only a provisional attitude of mind. The true you, the I AM, cannot be touched or defiled; it remains pure, timeless, and aware. Your task is to revise the scene: claim that you are the I AM, and thus you are always pristine, regardless of apparent contact with death. The seven days become seven breaths of renewed consciousness, a reminder to return to this inner state.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Sit quietly, declare I am the I AM, I am pure, and imagine touching the so-called dead thing dissolving into light; see the seven days dissolve into one moment of unwavering awareness.
