Inner Inheritance of the I Am
Numbers 18:20-24 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The text says Aaron has no land inheritance, but the Levi tribe receives the tithes as their inheritance in service to the tabernacle. It also warns the people to stay distant from the tabernacle to avoid sin, and explains that the Levites will bear iniquity as they serve, a perpetual statute.
Neville's Inner Vision
Imagine the outer arrangement as a map of your inner life. When God says, I am thy part and thy inheritance, the real estate is your awareness—your I AM. The Levitical tithe points to a deliberate giving of attention to the inner temple; what you allocate to service within becomes your true wealth. By consecrating a portion of your thoughts and time to the tabernacle of consciousness, you establish a secure fund of peace that cannot be encumbered by outward lack. The rule about not approaching the tabernacle until you can bear it without sin becomes a teaching about inner readiness: come to stillness with integrity, so guilt does not obstruct your perception. The outward inheritance disappears in significance as you awaken to an inner inheritance that is constant and personal. Your prosperity is a state of consciousness in which I AM is your fixed tenure; the rest of life follows from that unwavering inner wealth.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and declare, I AM thy wealth and inheritance. Then give a moment of devoted attention to the inner tabernacle, feeling the state of abundance as already yours and living from it.
