To Moses I would add that the outward test is but a sign of an inward order. The true prophet speaks as the I AM, and the signs you seek are first perceived in your own consciousness. The 'new thing' is a fresh edition of your being, where the earth of old belief yawn opens when you refuse to die to the sense of separation and instead consent to the living Presence within. If you cling to the 'common death'—the routine thoughts of limitation—you are not sent; if, however, the Lord is your conviction, you experience a swallowing up of fear and a descent into power—your inner pit becomes the birth canal of a higher state. The test is inner, not external: do your inner responses, your impulses, and your decisions originate in the I AM? When you imagine yourself as the instrument of Providence and feel it real, you become the 'new thing' that proves the message is true. The world then bows to the truth you have declared in your own consciousness.
