Scripture Focus

21And Moses said, The people, among whom I am, are six hundred thousand footmen; and thou hast said, I will give them flesh, that they may eat a whole month.
22Shall the flocks and the herds be slain for them, to suffice them? or shall all the fish of the sea be gathered together for them, to suffice them?
23And the LORD said unto Moses, Is the LORD's hand waxed short? thou shalt see now whether my word shall come to pass unto thee or not.
Numbers 11:21-23

Biblical Context

Moses questions how the crowd will be fed, and God asserts that His power to provide remains unchanged by human calculation. The passage invites a shift from outward measurement to inner trust.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Numbers 11:21-23 the outer drama—bread, meat, and numbers—presents a symbol of your inner state. The six hundred thousand footmen are not bodies to be fed, but thoughts and habits that demand proof before they yield. God’s question, 'Is the LORD's hand waxed short?' is not a threat from a distant deity, but the I AM within testing your belief in your own supply. The true Word is not in flocks or fish; it is the living decree of awareness that already satisfies every want. When you dwell in the assumption that the provision is complete and present now, you align your consciousness with the decree that has no interruption. The delay you perceive is the turning of your faith from sight to certainty. The flesh of the people becomes the image of your old patterns—fear, doubt, lack—while the Lord’s power is the radiant presence of your current awareness. Your task is to revise by the inner sight: declare, here and now, that the promise is done; feel the satisfaction of it as your present state.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the supply is already yours; imagine the scene of abundant nourishment unfolding within your mind, and feel the sensation of it as present.
