Biblical Context
God is the Lord who made heaven and earth and preserves all things. He delivered Israel from Egypt and parted the sea, proving His faithfulness.
Neville's Inner Vision
All through Nehemiah, the I AM speaks through creation. The heavens, the earth, the seas—seen and unseen—are but the stage on which your inner life plays out. When the ancients cry out under oppression, the I AM answers not as a distant judge but as the living awareness that chooses Abram, then makes a covenant with him. This covenant is not a historical treaty external to you; it is the steadfast decision of your own consciousness to dwell in truth, to give birth to order in seeming chaos. The Red Sea episode is your mind parting the currents of limitation, your fear thrown into the depths as you step through in faith. The signs and wonders are the correspondences that follow when you keep faith with the inner law: you begin to see that your state imprints your world, and your consistency with that state draws the results. Therefore, deliverance is not an event external to you but the natural expression of your unified state. When you own the I AM as LORD of your life, you rewrite the story from within.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, assume the feeling of the I AM governing all you are and have. Then revise any old limitation by affirming, 'The I AM preserves and delivers,' and feel the exodus as your present reality.
