In the scripture the table is not a mere table, but the image of your own inner state. Nehemiah sits with a hundred and fifty of the Jews and rulers, and others drawn to the feast. This invites you to see your consciousness as a banquet where unity and generosity are the rule, not the exception. The “heathen around us” are the parts of your mind you may have kept separate; today you invite them, and thus the circle expands. Wealth and provision are not found out there; they arise from the assumption you are already fed and fed others. When you close your eyes and imagine this scene, you are rehearsing the condition of abundance as your natural I AM. The host at the inner table is you, the one who refuses scarcity and insists that love, acceptance, and resources flow freely to every guest. By holding that image, you harmonize your inner movements into a single, luminous reality.
