Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Micah speaks of feeding the flock with the rod of divine power and of deliverance under the shepherd’s care. The outward signs arise as your inner state aligns with I AM awareness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the Neville lens, the passage is a teaching on the governance of consciousness. Feed thy people with thy rod becomes feed thy inner life with the rod of imagination—the authority by which you declare what is. The flock of thine heritage is your inner thoughts, feelings, and purposes, dwelling solitarily in the wood, in the midst of Carmel, meaning they reside in the quiet places of your mind. Let them feed in Bashan and Gilead as in the days of old means allow inner states to experience abundance and freedom, recalling the days of old not as past time but as present potential. According to the days of thy coming out of Egypt I will show unto him marvellous things translates to deliverance appearing as a fresh realization of your I AM power in the now. The nations shall see and be confounded at all their might are outer circumstances that bow when your inner certainty stands firm. They shall fear because of thee, for the LORD our God is the ruler within your awareness.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and declare: I AM the shepherd of my inner life. I feed my inner people with the rod of imagination, dwelling in the wood of my mind with calm assurance. Now revise any sense of lack and feel the abundance as already mine, here and now.
