Inner Vision Versus False Peace

Micah 3:5-6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Micah 3 in context

Scripture Focus

5Thus saith the LORD concerning the prophets that make my people err, that bite with their teeth, and cry, Peace; and he that putteth not into their mouths, they even prepare war against him.
6Therefore night shall be unto you, that ye shall not have a vision; and it shall be dark unto you, that ye shall not divine; and the sun shall go down over the prophets, and the day shall be dark over them.
Micah 3:5-6

Biblical Context

Micah 3:5-6 denounces prophets who preach 'peace' to mislead My people. True spiritual sight vanishes when one clings to their words, and darkness falls on those who rely on them.

Neville's Inner Vision

In Neville’s reading, the 'peace' proclaimed by outward voices is a distraction, a bite that soothes while steering you away from vision. The prophets are inner states of consciousness within you, and when you consent to their peace you lend them your mouth and empower them to 'prepare war' against your true imagination. Night comes as your inner sight dims; you find no vision because you have replaced your I AM-guided imagination with hollow assurances. The cure is to return to the one constant: I AM, the awareness that you are. In that state, peace arises as steady alignment with truth, and vision awakens as you imagine from the end and dwell in the felt reality of it now. Practically, revise every claim of external peace by affirming that you are the vision here and now, letting your inner sense of self govern what you behold.

Practice This Now

Assume the feeling: I AM the vision now. For a few minutes, let this inner claim replace every peacetime thought and dwell in the sense of immediate, lived awareness.
