The Inner Appearing Of God
Micah 1:2-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Micah 1 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
God calls all to hear, and the Lord comes from his place to witness against the people; the imagery shows inner upheaval mirrored as the outer world is moved by divine presence.
Neville's Inner Vision
Hear me in the heart: Micah’s storm is not merely an external accusation but a summons to the awareness you are. The Lord coming forth from his place signifies consciousness stepping into action, the I AM moving to clear obstruction. When the mountains melt and valleys cleft, that is your inner landscape rearranging under the heat of divine attention—beliefs, judgments, and separations yielding to a purifying flame. This is not vengeance but a state-shift: as you realize you are the I AM, the outer conditions fall into line with your renewed sense of being. The Lord witnessing against you is simply your own I AM declaring what is true for you, that you stand as the image of God in present awareness. Allow the fire of awareness to do its work, and you will find the self reformed, the problem dissolved, and the sense of separation dissolving into unity with the One.
Practice This Now
In this moment, assume the I AM as the Lord GOD witnessing within you. Revise any sense of separation by feeling the inner presence descend, melting the mountains of doubt and opening the valleys of old belief to the fire of awareness.
