Matthew 5:44

Biblical Context

Jesus instructs to respond to enemies with love, bless them, do good, and pray for those who persecute you, instead of seeking revenge.

Neville's Inner Vision

Your enemies are not outside you; they are memories stirred by a former state of consciousness. Love here is not sentiment but an act of identification with the I AM: the awareness that you are one with the infinite self that blesses, does good, and prays. When you harshly judge another, you are rehearsing a self you do not wish to inhabit. By deliberately assuming the perception that you already are loved and loving, you revise the very feelings that have kept separation alive. Blessing becomes a soft judgment that no longer punishes but invites reconciliation; praying for those who persecute becomes a quiet assertion that you are free from fear. As you dwell in that state, the external world begins to mirror this inner state—what you once called "enemies" are gentle teachers guiding you to awaken to your unity with God. The act of forgiveness and blessing is a re-rooting of your attention into the I AM, which creates your reality.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume the state of unconditional love by repeating 'I am the I AM, and I bless you,' then visualize the one who opposed you stepping into your embrace of peace and your world becoming whole.
