Inner Turn the Other Cheek Practice
Matthew 5:38-42 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus reframes retaliation as a call to respond from inner abundance. Do not retaliate; give generously and go beyond what is asked.
Neville's Inner Vision
To the I AM within you, this teaching is not a weakness; it is a reengineering of your inner state. The old law of eye for eye keeps you bound to grievance by affirming a separate self that is harmed. When you resist not evil, you refuse to participate in that old scene and instead align with life’s unity. See the other as a projection of your own consciousness and revise the scene from inside. If someone tests your security, move into mercy and choose to render more than is demanded. If asked for your coat, imagine giving both coat and cloak as a sign that you live in abundance. When asked to go a mile, gladly go two, not to prove virtue but to shift your spiritual position. Dwelling in the feeling of the wish fulfilled—I AM the source, I AM unbound—causes the outer world to mirror your inner generosity. Mercy becomes your operating system; generosity, your natural state, and forgiveness your daily currency.
Practice This Now
Practice: when you feel wronged today, close your eyes, breathe, and imagine the other as your own I AM. See yourself handing over the coat and walking the extra mile in your mind, until that sense of abundance becomes your immediate experience.
