Biblical Context
The tomb is empty; the risen Lord is not found in the old scene. It invites you to awaken to a transformed inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Matthew 28:6 speaks not of a tomb in a distant land but of the inner tomb we carry in the mind. 'He is not here' signals that the old self-image—lack, fear, limitation—has vanished from the stage of awareness. 'For he is risen, as he said' is the inner decree of your I AM, the living awareness that is already awake to its truth and to your true power. The resurrection is not an event to be awaited but a state of consciousness you awaken into by following the inner hint: imagination is the instrument by which this life is renewed. 'Come, see the place where the Lord lay' invites you to inspect the ground of your being where you once believed you were bound; discover that the stone of despair has rolled away and the Lord, your essential nature, now stands unveiled. Your future, therefore, is not earned from without but released from within, as you assume the risen you and let that assumption work in the felt sense of your day-to-day life.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the feeling of the risen self for a few minutes today. Say quietly, 'I am risen; I live now in the truth of my I AM,' and let that assurance flood your body with steady, hopeful energy.
