Scripture Focus

62And the high priest arose, and said unto him, Answerest thou nothing? what is it which these witness against thee?
63But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest answered and said unto him, I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us whether thou be the Christ, the Son of God.
64Jesus saith unto him, Thou hast said: nevertheless I say unto you, Hereafter shall ye see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven.
Matthew 26:62-64

Biblical Context

The high priest asks Jesus if he is the Christ; Jesus responds by sharing a future vision rather than a defense. He declares that the Son of Man will appear at the right hand of power and come on the clouds.

Neville's Inner Vision

Consider the scene as a mirror of your inward state. The high priest's question is not a fact to be argued but a projection of the old self, the voice that doubts your worth and limits your power. Jesus remains quiet, not to concede outwardly, but to reveal that the true Christ, the inner king, does not answer from the old ego but from the I AM within. When he says, 'Hereafter shall ye see the Son of Man sitting on the right hand of power, and coming in the clouds of heaven,' he is naming the moment when your consciousness awakens to its own authority. The 'right hand of power' is the immediacy of your awareness—the place where you rule your inner world. The 'clouds of heaven' are not ominous signs but the movements of imagination and perception that reveal the state you have assumed. If you dwell in the feeling of being the I AM, your life will reflect that inner throne and the coming of the Son of Man—your true self—into your everyday experience.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM as your present reality. Sit quietly for five minutes and repeat: I am the Son of Man seated at the right hand of power. Feel the inner throne, then notice your life reflecting that authority.
