All outer rank is but a reflection of an inner state. The greatest among you is not the loudest, but the one who serves from the I AM within. Exaltation in the world is a restless impulse; true exaltation arises when you relinquish self-importance and allow the inner governor to act through you. When you imagine yourself in the posture of a servant, you are not diminishing yourself; you are aligning with the creative power that gives life to all deeds. Pride contracts consciousness; humility releases it, and in that release you discover a broader sense of being elevated in purpose. The Kingdom of God is not a distant throne but a present condition of awareness felt as love in action toward others. Serve first, and see how your service becomes the throne from which you rule—not by force, but by quiet readiness to be useful. The law here is reversal: by lowering the ego, you rise in the imagination and thus in reality.
