Beware The Leaven Within

To Jesus, the warning is not about bread but about your inner leaven—the ferment of habit, reputation, and outward show that anesthetizes faith. The Pharisees and Sadducees symbolize two polite evasions of reality: ritual correctness and dry skepticism. When you identify with any state that seeks righteousness from without, you are consuming leaven and your consciousness becomes leavened with doubt and rigidity. The antidote is inner revision: realize that the kingdom of God is not out there in a creed or a crowd but in the I AM presence you inhabit now. Watch your thoughts as a baker watches dough; catch the rising of fear, pride, or calculation, and declare, in the quiet of your I AM, that you are true, unified, and faithful. Feel it real that you stand pure and discerning, free from the leavens of other minds. In practice, assume a state of integrity and perceptive faith, and allow it to fill your inner atmosphere. As you dwell there, your outer life aligns with that inner purity, and truth becomes your daily experience.
