Inner Provision in Desert Place

Matthew 14:15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 14 in context

Scripture Focus

15And when it was evening, his disciples came to him, saying, This is a desert place, and the time is now past; send the multitude away, that they may go into the villages, and buy themselves victuals.
Matthew 14:15

Biblical Context

The disciples announce that it is evening in a desert place and that the time has passed. They ask Jesus to send the crowd away to buy food.

Neville's Inner Vision

Desert place and evening in the verse announce a state of consciousness, not a geographic scene. The crowd of thoughts and needs stands before you, and the time past signals you are clinging to old forms of supply. The disciples’ urge to send them away mirrors the habit of seeking external help instead of invoking the I AM within. Yet the inner Christ, the I AM, is always ready to feed the multitude from the storehouse of consciousness. The lesson invites you to dissolve the split between lack and supply by recognizing that every hunger is met by the abundance already present in awareness. When you accept that you are the one life, you become the ground and method of mercy: generosity toward your inner needs and toward all who appear in your field of awareness. The miracle is a revision your imagination makes, not a miracle performed by distance or time. Stand in that supplication of consciousness, and the desert becomes fertile with possibilities as you awaken to inner provision.

Practice This Now

Assume the I AM provides for the crowd within you now. Feel the nourishment as real and circulating through your inner world.
