Pearl of the Inner Kingdom

Matthew 13:45-46 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Matthew 13 in context

Scripture Focus

45Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a merchant man, seeking goodly pearls:
46Who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it.
Matthew 13:45-46

Biblical Context

The Kingdom of heaven is portrayed as a priceless pearl found by a seeker. The act of selling all to buy it shows that true value requires a total shift in priorities.

Neville's Inner Vision

Within the vision of Matthew's merchant and the pearl, I perceive the kingdom as a living state of consciousness, not a distant place. The merchant is the seeker in you who tests every belief until it shines with truth. The pearl of great price is the realization that wealth is the quality of awareness you wear, not the coin you count. When the man finds the pearl, the script asks for more than desire; it asks for a complete revision of what you call valuable. He disposes of all he owns; that surrender is symbolic of laying aside every outer measure of security until your mind is emptied and ready to receive. The act is not moral drama but a practical change of mind: you shift from lack to fullness by assuming the state of possession. Here, imagination becomes reality, and I AM, your true self, confirms that abundance flows from within. When you dwell in that inner wealth, faith grows and trust deepens; the outer world aligns to reflect the inner value you now inhabit.

Practice This Now

Sit quietly and assume you already possess the pearl. Feel the inner wealth as real and let external attachments fall away.
