The Restful Yoke Within
Matthew 11:25-30 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus thanks the Father for revealing divine truths to the humble rather than the proud. He invites all who labor to come to Him for rest, promising an easy yoke and a light burden.
Neville's Inner Vision
From a Neville Goddard perspective, the passage expresses a map of consciousness: the 'wise and prudent' are the asserting mind that believes it must earn God through its own cleverness, while the 'babes' are the open, trustful heart of the I AM. All things are delivered unto me of my Father, meaning every experience flows from the inner life of awareness—the Father within—and is known to the son only as he yields to that inner revelation. 'No man knoweth the Son' becomes the truth that true knowledge of God comes not from external effort but from the inner I AM willing to reveal the Father. 'Come unto me' is a turning of attention from mental bustle to the stillness of inner consciousness; rest is the alignment with one's true nature, not a place. Take my yoke upon you and learn of me—yoked to meekness and lowliness of heart is simply consenting to be led by inner truth. For my yoke is easy and my burden light because the weight dissolves when you rest in the conviction that you are the instrument and the Source of all that you experience, through the I AM.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine stepping from the noise of thought into the inner chamber where I AM resides. Whisper to yourself, 'I am rest; I am yoked with ease; the Father reveals to me now,' and linger in that felt sense for a minute or two.
