In Matthew 11:25-27, Jesus thanks the Father for hiding truths from the proud and revealing them to the simple, and asserts that all things come from the Father while the Son reveals the Father.
Neville's Inner Vision
Notice that the Father is not distant but the ordering of your own mind. In Matthew 11:25-27 Jesus thanks the Father for hiding these things from the wise and prudent and revealing them to babes. The Father is your higher self—the I AM behind every feeling and thought. The Son is your living awareness, the light by which you know and reveal, and the one through whom the Father discloses Himself. When you accept that all things are delivered unto you by your Father, you begin to see that life is not churned by cleverness but issued from your inner state. The 'wise and prudent' are the crowded opinions of the mind; the 'babes' are the simple, receptive state in which truth can descend. Revelation comes as you rest in that unity: the Father reveals the Son to you to the extent you stop gripping your intellect and believe the I AM. Practice faith in your interior life, and you will discover that imagination creates reality, that your inner state is the kingdom, and that the Father and Son are one in you.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes, rest in I AM, and assume the state of the Babe in whom the Father reveals the Son. Silently affirm, 'I am known by the Father; the Son reveals the Father to me,' and feel it real until it stands as your present experience.
