Inner Provision in Mark 8:6-7
Mark 8:6-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Mark 8 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus commands the crowd to sit, blesses seven loaves and a few fish, and distributes them, illustrating that provision follows a grateful, shared inner state.
Neville's Inner Vision
Mark’s scene invites us to the inner seating of consciousness—the moment you accept that the I AM is your supply. The seven loaves and the few fishes are not tokens in a story; they are states of mind available in your inner market. When Jesus commands the people to sit, he is telling you to rest in your awareness, not the outer lack. Taking the loaves, he blesses them, which in Neville’s practice is the act of assuming the feeling of the wish fulfilled—the inner blessing that makes the imagined return to you as fact. The act of giving to his disciples to set before the crowd represents sharing your realized state with your inner community, letting others taste the fruit of your inner purchase. And when he blesses again and sets the fish before them, that is the multiplication—the law of circulation in your own consciousness: what you hold as real expands when offered in gratitude. So the miracle is not in the meal, but in your awakening that abundance is already present in the I AM and becomes tangible through blessing, giving thanks, and generous sharing.
Practice This Now
Sit quietly; assume you are already supplied beyond need. Bless the imagined feast with gratitude and share it in your mind with others; watch how lack recedes as your inner picture expands.
