Read Mark 8 in context

Scripture Focus

23And he took the blind man by the hand, and led him out of the town; and when he had spit on his eyes, and put his hands upon him, he asked him if he saw ought.
24And he looked up, and said, I see men as trees, walking.
25After that he put his hands again upon his eyes, and made him look up: and he was restored, and saw every man clearly.
Mark 8:23-25

Biblical Context

Jesus leads a blind man out of the town and heals him in two stages: first partial sight, then full restoration. At first, he sees men as trees; after the second touch, he sees clearly.

Neville's Inner Vision

Mark 8:23-25 shows healing as an inner awakening. The man is led by the hand out of the town of limitation, as old beliefs are washed away by a spiritual spit of conviction. The first touch awakens vision, but he reports only partial sight: men as trees, walking. The Master does not abandon him there; a second touch follows, and the eyes are opened to see clearly. This is the pattern of consciousness: we glimpse, then revise, and finally align with a fixed state of being. The second touch corresponds to a deeper assumption that the I AM perceives, and that what is perceived is the truth of our being, not the appearance of absence. We pass from the village of separation into a world where every face is a manifestation of one Self. The healing is not in changing scenery but in changing the state of awareness. Your work is to repeat the inner two-stage touch—first acknowledge the old seeing, then revise and allow the new sight to emerge.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and imagine the I AM taking you by the hand, leading you out of the town of limitation. Then, speak softly, I see clearly now, and feel the truth of it until it becomes your immediate experience.
