Touching The Inner Healer
Mark 5:21-43 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Mark 5 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jairus seeks Jesus to heal his dying daughter; a woman with a twelve-year bleeding issue touches Jesus and is healed by faith. Jesus then raises the girl, illustrating that faith and God-presence restore life.
Neville's Inner Vision
On the inner shore of your awareness, Jairus represents the ruling thought that demands results now; the woman with the issue of blood is your long-seated belief in lack, worn by time, yet hungry for life. When they touch the hem of Jesus’ garment, a signal travels as vibration through your consciousness: a shift in state, and virtue flows from within you, dissolving old pattern. Jesus’ words, 'Be not afraid, only believe,' become a command to your inner I AM: remain steadfast in the assumption of life. The healing is not somewhere outside you; it is the realization that your present state is already whole. The daughter rising is the resurrection of a part of you you thought dead—your vitality, joy, and purpose—restored by the awareness that you are one with the life that Jesus embodies. Your mind, like Jairus and the woman, is a field where faith exercises its authority; the miracle occurs when you acknowledge your I AM and allow the life that is you to move.
Practice This Now
Assume now that you are already healed and alive; feel the energy of wholeness coursing through your body and repeat, I AM life, I AM health, as you rest in this inner conviction.
