The Small Ship Within
Mark 3:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Mark 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus instructs his disciples to keep a small ship waiting so the crowd won't throng him, for he had healed many and people pressed to touch him.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the crowd as the storm of thoughts and demands pressing on your awareness. The small ship is your intentional boundary—your practiced state of consciousness anchored in I AM. When you enter that vessel, you are not fleeing life; you are creating a still harbor where divine Life can operate. In that quiet, healing energy circulates outward and inward; you are the conduit through which mercy reaches the afflicted, including your own body and mind. The healthier you feel inside, the more you radiate a presence that others can touch, yet you remain undisturbed by the throng because the boundary is held by your assumption. Faith is not belief alone, but the inner agreement that the I AM is sovereign over sensation and circumstance. Trust that your deliberate posture—this vessel of awareness—forms the conditions for restoration to reveal itself. The presence of God is not distant; it is your awareness shining through as healing, mercy, and calm, pouring into every area that needs restoration.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Sit quietly, picture a small boat resting on your inner sea, anchored by I AM. Whisper, I am the presence that heals, and dwell there until the sense of crowding dissolves.
