Inner Widow, Outer Provision
Mark 12:41-44 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Mark 12 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus observes the treasury; the widow offers two mites and, though poor, gives all she has. Her total trust contrasts with the rich who give from abundance.
Neville's Inner Vision
Mark 12:41-44 invites you to attend to the inner treasury of your own consciousness. The crowd casts coins as evidence of abundance, but the widow casts in all she has—her very living—because she recognizes wealth as an inner trust, not a sum. In truth, God is the I AM within you, and every outward gift is a movement of that life toward form. If you cling to lack, you guard a portion of yourself from the river of supply. If, however, you assume the widow’s posture—giving all to the living Presence within—you release the law of circulation. What you call poverty is the outward sign of an inward state; shift the state, and appearances answer to your inner conviction. Your true fortune is not the coins you count but the certainty that you are eternally supplied by your own consciousness. The moment you decide that the I AM is your only source, you discover that the entire treasury of the world is your private field of imagination, ready to respond to your assumption.
Practice This Now
Practice: Close your eyes, affirm I AM the only source of my wealth, and imagine giving all you have to the living Presence within. Feel the release and the certainty that this inner state will rearrange outer appearances.
