Childlike Entry to the Inner Kingdom

Mark 10:14-15 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Mark 10 in context

Scripture Focus

14But when Jesus saw it, he was much displeased, and said unto them, Suffer the little children to come unto me, and forbid them not: for of such is the kingdom of God.
15Verily I say unto you, Whosoever shall not receive the kingdom of God as a little child, he shall not enter therein.
Mark 10:14-15

Biblical Context

Jesus welcomes children and says the kingdom belongs to those who receive it as a child; to enter, one must adopt a receptive, trusting state of consciousness.

Neville's Inner Vision

Observe that the scene is not about external children but about your own inner state. The 'kingdom of God' is the I AM you are already; it comes to those who drop the need to figure everything out and instead open with childlike trust to awareness itself. When you receive as a little child, you stop bargaining with life and simply allow the presence you are to fill the room of your mind. The displeasure Jesus shows arises when you withhold or try to control your inner experience; the moment you relax and permit, you enter. The kingdom is not a future reward but your present state—an unveiled awareness that loves, perceives, and acts from peace. Practice realignment: identify a situation that once triggered effort, and reframe it as a call to rest in I AM, imagining the scene already resolved by your calm, familiar presence. That inner posture naturally attracts the visible world to reflect your inner trust.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume, right now, that the kingdom of God is your present reality; feel the seat of I AM within you and act from that trust. Maintain the feeling for a few breaths, then observe how the outer world aligns.
