Inner Sun Awakening: Malachi 4:1-4
Malachi 4:1-4 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Malachi 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of a day of judgment that burns away the proud and wicked, while those who fear the name receive healing and growth. Remembering the law is an inner discipline to stay aligned.
Neville's Inner Vision
Picture the day as an inner furnace of consciousness, not a distant catastrophe. In this inner theater, the 'day' is a movement of your I AM awakening from pride and fear into the light of the Sun of righteousness. The proud and the wicked are simply stubborn beliefs masquerading as self; they burn away when met with the warm authority of awareness. Healing comes as the wings of the Sun spread over you, and old pain and limitation melt into release. You tread the remnants of the former self as ashes under your feet, for you have chosen a higher image of yourself. Remembering the law becomes a living inner covenant: a consistent discipline of truth, order, and mercy in every thought. This is not punishment but purification by consciousness. When you accept this inner decree, your mind grows tender, confident, and free, and you emerge calibrated to your true self.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Assume the self as the Sun of righteousness arising within you, feeling healing warm every area of your life for a few minutes. Then revise any sense of lack or fear and embody the new self as already realized.
