Sunrise of Healing Within
Malachi 4:1-3 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Malachi 4 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage speaks of a day of fiery judgment that is really a shift in inner life. The proud and wicked are burned away, while those who honor the name rise into healing and growth.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the inner sight, Malachi's day is a shift of your own consciousness, not a distant judgment on others. The furnace of a fiery day represents the focus of attention that burns away pride and the need to be defined by external doings. When you fear the I am within you, the Sun of righteousness arises with healing in its wings. This is not punishment but the awakening of a conserving, healing light in your awareness. You go forth and grow up as calves of the stall because you are fed by a sunlit state of being, not by old rules. The wicked become ashes only as you no longer resist the transformation; the power you wield is the interior assent that you are the I am, and imagination creates reality. The day you imagine and inhabit becomes the day you live: the old identity dissolves, and the present is ruled by love-born certainty. Deliverance arrives not by conquest of others but by awakening to your true divine nature.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes, breathe, and revise: I am the Sun of righteousness arising within me now; feel it real as warmth expands through my chest. Stay with this sensation for a few minutes, letting every doubt melt away.
