I Am Unchanging Within

Malachi 3:6 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Malachi 3 in context

Scripture Focus

6For I am the LORD, I change not; therefore ye sons of Jacob are not consumed.
Malachi 3:6

Biblical Context

God’s nature is constant, so the covenant people are not consumed because the LORD does not change.

Neville's Inner Vision

Malachi 3:6 declares with unshakable certainty that the LORD does not change. If you feel battered by life, remember you are not facing a capricious god but a fixed awareness—the I AM—that you are. The I AM is the unchanging backdrop of all experience, and every event in your life arises within that steady consciousness. When you affirm that God’s nature remains constant, you stop seeking protection from without and begin reawakening to the security that already dwells inside you. Your outward world then follows your inner state, not the other way around; you align your thoughts, feelings, and imaginal acts with the one constant reality: you are the I AM that cannot be moved. Covenant loyalty is simply a return to this inner rock of awareness, a decision to dwell in the awareness that nothing in you or your world can deplete the I AM. In this shift, transformation emerges naturally as a form of remembering who you truly are.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Choose five breaths to sink into the I AM as your constant. Revise any sense of change by repeating, 'I am the unchanging I AM,' until the feeling of steadiness fills you.
