Mountain Of Inner Glory
Luke 9:28-31 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus takes Peter, James, and John up a mountain to pray; there, his countenance becomes radiant and two figures, Moses and Elijah, appear and talk of his coming decease in Jerusalem.
Neville's Inner Vision
Luke's scene is not an event in time as much as a translation of consciousness. The mountaintop is the state of heightened awareness you enter when you suspend external noise and affirm your I AM. As you dwell there in prayer, the outward countenance changes because your inner self awakens—the radiance you see is the light you already carry as the living I AM. The two visitors, Moses and Elijah, are not strangers in time but inner faculties meeting in glory: Moses embodies the law of disciplined thought, Elijah the prophetic imagination. When they speak of the decease to be accomplished in Jerusalem, they point to the inner death of the old self-identity—fear, limitation, habit—through a purpose-driven consciousness that seeks its fulfillment at the spiritual center you call Jerusalem, the heart of your being. The glory in garments that are white and glistering signals the cleansing of your self-image and the alignment of every thought with divine truth. This vision invites you to realize that all transformation is already complete in the I AM, awaiting your conscious agreement.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and ascend to your mountain of awareness. In this stillness, declare I AM as your reality and invite the inner Moses and Elijah to speak of releasing the old self; feel the radiant wash of wholeness as you align with your Jerusalem.
