Biblical Context
Luke 22:3 describes Satan entering Judas Iscariot, a moment where a darker impulse moves through a chosen state of consciousness among the twelve. The passage invites us to see such intrusions as inner dynamics, not external verdicts.
Neville's Inner Vision
Judas is not a culprit outside you; he is a state of consciousness within. Satan entering Judas signifies a conviction or fear seizing a portion of your awareness, showing how a single thought can seem to take possession when you forget the I AM. The inner drama reveals the law: whatever you imagine you are, you become. Providence and guidance are at work, using even the darkest impulse to wake you to your power. The remedy is simple: refuse to identify with the intruder. Instead, acknowledge that you are the one imagining, and reimagine the scene from the I AM as spectator and governor. In practice, assume you are now aware of a Judas-like impulse and revise it by declaring, 'I AM the Lord of this inner state; no fear or doubt shall rule me.' Keep feeling that you are already whole and directed, until the impulse loses its charge and inner peace returns.
Practice This Now
Imaginative_act: When you notice a Judas-like impulse, close your eyes and silently declare, 'I AM; I create this scene.' Visualize replacing the intruding thought with the feeling of the Presence overseeing your inner landscape.
