Biblical Context
Jesus' path is presented as predetermined, while the betrayal of Judas is a warning about inner alignment and accountability.
Neville's Inner Vision
Luke 22:22 presents a paradox: the Son of Man goes as it is determined, and yet a warning falls upon the betrayer. In my terms, the Son of Man is your higher I AM, the Christ within, and determined signals that the end you inwardly consent to has already taken shape. The betrayal points to a misalignment in consciousness—the part of you seeking to resist the good by blaming another. Remember: no event occurs outside your inner state; the outer scene is a faithful expression of your inner decree. If you insist on seeing betrayal, you inadvertently project the very woe you fear. Reclaim the scene by assuming the inner end as already real: I AM aware, I AM unchanged, I AM fulfilled. This is Providence in action: guidance comes by aligning every moment with your highest ideal, till the apparent outer world mirrors it. Do not fear the betrayal; use it as a cue to revise your inner state until it feels inevitable.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes and rest in the I AM. Revise the scene by affirming, I AM the determiner of my life, and feel the end as already real until the outer event aligns with it.
