Luke 2:25-27

Biblical Context

Simeon, a just and devout man, is guided by the Spirit to welcome the Messiah. His inner waiting culminates in a temple encounter that reveals the Christ.

Neville's Inner Vision

Beloved, Simeon is the inner man who is just and devout, waiting for the consolation of Israel in the temple of his mind. The Holy Ghost upon him is the I AM moving through consciousness, telling him he shall not see death until he has seen the Christ. He came by the Spirit into the temple; this shows that when you align with inner promptings, your outer world becomes a temple of revelation. Your daily life becomes the temple where revelation enters. The consolation you seek is the reassurance that the Christ already exists within your awareness, awaiting recognition by your imagination. The Christ you seek is not a distant future; it is the recognition of your true nature, Christ within, already present and awaiting your awareness. The Spirit's motion is your own awareness in action, and as you dwell in that state, the Christ manifests in your experience.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Assume the state that you are Simeon—just and devout in Spirit, waiting with confidence for the Christ. Feel the Holy Spirit resting on you and declare, 'I have seen the Christ within this moment,' letting this recognition settle into your being.
