Luke 2:23

Biblical Context

Luke 2:23 declares that the firstborn male is to be set apart as holy to the Lord, signaling holiness and separation by law.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 2:23 speaks of a law within you: the first-born opening of the womb, a new thing born in your awareness, is called holy to the Lord. The 'Lord' is your I AM — your steady, aware Self. In this light, the verse is not about history but about your inner order. Every birth in your mind wants to stand apart, purified by attention to the divine presence. When you acknowledge that such a beginning is holy, you stop bargaining with fear and begin aligning intention with the inner ruler. The law commands reverence for the new; your task is to treat the next thought as separate, devoted, and consecrated to the I AM. By this revision, you do not force reality; you invite it to align with your divine nature, so the new may manifest as if declared holy by the inner judge of all truth. Practice this by assuming you have already consecrated the next venture to God, and feel the certainty flooding the mental chamber as the I AM blesses the birth.

Practice This Now

Assume the next birth in your mind is holy to the Lord. Feel the I AM blessing this new beginning as you move forward.
