Read Luke 2 in context

Scripture Focus

17And when they had seen it, they made known abroad the saying which was told them concerning this child.
18And all they that heard it wondered at those things which were told them by the shepherds.
Luke 2:17-18

Biblical Context

After seeing the child, the shepherds proclaim to others what they were told about him. Those who hear are amazed at the message.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 2:17-18 is a note to the inner auditor: once you have beheld the truth of the I AM, you tell it forth. The shepherds symbolize your inner faculties—senses, memory, imagination—witnessing the birth of the divine state within you and broadcasting what they have learned about this child. To 'see it' is to know your own consciousness as the source of all; to 'make known' is to speak from that certainty to the self. When listeners hear, they are 'amazed' because they recognize the signature of truth accompanying your proclamation. The wonder in the room is the outer manifestation of your inner conviction. Practice: assume the truth of the newborn I AM, revise any contrary memory, feel it as already real, and tell yourself quietly that your world is now speaking from that light. Do not chase approval from others; let the inner message do its work, and the outer evidence will align with the declared state.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes and assume you have beheld the inner child. Feel the I AM as real now and quietly proclaim it to yourself, then picture others marveling at the truth you have spoken.
