As Jesus approaches Jerusalem, the disciples rejoice and proclaim the coming King, praising God for the mighty works. The passage points to an inner recognition of divine authority and the peace and glory that accompany true worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Beloved, the scene is not history but your inner theater. The descent from the Mount of Olives signifies the turning of your attention from scattered thoughts to the one Life within. The multitude of disciples embodies the many states of consciousness awakening to their kingly authority. When they cry, Blessed be the King that cometh in the name of the Lord, they are naming your I AM as the sole sovereign, anchored in the source. Peace in heaven is the alignment of your mind with divine order—no fear, no lack, just a settled stillness that breaths through every thought. Glory in the highest is the radiance that cannot be diminished when you acknowledge your true nature as the expression of God. Practice is not begging but acknowledging: you are the king of your inner realm, and your world follows your faith in that kingship. When you dwell in this awareness, the outside scene of life begins to harmonize with this inner decree.
Practice This Now
Imaginative act: Close your eyes and imagine you stand upon your inner Mount of Olives, declaring I AM the King and feel the peace descend as heaven within you. Dwell there a moment until the sense of rule and quiet power remains.
