Inner Kingdom Awakening
Luke 16:14-18 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus exposes the covetous Pharisees and shows that God sees the heart, not outward esteem. The kingdom of God is now preached, inviting the inner movement of belief to press into it, while the outer law remains intact and vows still matter.
Neville's Inner Vision
Consider Luke 16 as a map of inner weather. The coveting Pharisee is not merely a social type but a state of mind clinging to appearances and approval. When Jesus says God knows the heart, he is pointing to the I AM in you—awareness that cannot be impressed or impressed upon by mere reputation. What is highly esteemed among men becomes an abomination to the living God when seen through the eye that does not miss a thought. The law and the prophets stood as outer forms until John; then the kingdom of God is preached as a present inner reality. To press into it is to align your entire being with that inner state, trusting that the seemingly solid world yields to the reality of consciousness. The law's stipulations do not vanish, but their weight is reoriented by your inner allegiance; you cannot separate fidelity from the state you inhabit. Adultery here is not merely a crime of behavior but a sign that you are unfaithful to the one I AM within. So you are invited to dwell in the kingdom now, letting your imagination be the instrument by which you realize this truth.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of the kingdom here and now: close your eyes, affirm 'I AM the kingdom of God within me now,' and feel that reality grounding your day. When covetous or judgmental thoughts arise, revise to 'I am complete, lacking nothing,' and let the feeling of fullness settle into your body.
