Biblical Context
Luke 16:1-2 presents a wealthy man and a steward accused of wasting goods, with a demand to give an account of stewardship. It foregrounds how we manage our inner riches and consciousness.
Neville's Inner Vision
Viewed through the Neville lens, the rich man is the I AM within you, the source of all wealth. The steward is a state of consciousness that handles your inner powers; when you hear that you have wasted goods, you are being invited to wake up to how you attend to your mental possessions. To be told to give an account is not judgment but a call to awareness. You do not own external goods; you own the ability to imagine and to assign value. The moment you revise your state and decide to be a faithful steward, you attract a new distribution of inner abundance. The master never abandons you; he merely asks you to operate from a higher mental currency. By imagining with clarity and feeling, you can restore balance and align your thoughts with sufficiency, prosperity, and generosity. Do not seek elsewhere; the wealth is within the images you hold and persist in holding. The act of revision is your rent paid to the inner ruler, and it frees you from the fear of depletion.
Practice This Now
Practice: sit quietly, close your eyes, and imagine the inner Rich Man listening to your accounting. Then revise: I am the faithful steward of all my inner goods; I give account now with gratitude, and I dwell in abundance.
