Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Peter asks whether this parable applies to them or to all, and Jesus answers that a faithful and wise steward who feeds the household in due season will be blessed and made ruler over all.
Neville's Inner Vision
In Luke 12:41-44 the lord is your inner I AM and the house the realm of your thoughts and feelings. The faithful and wise steward is a state of consciousness that tends to your mental food with diligence. When meat is given in due season, it signals that your inner state provides nourishment exactly when needed, sustaining life within. To be blessed is to align with that inner order, consistently doing what your highest guidance requires. The ruler over all refers to mastery of your inner kingdom: authority over impulses, fears, and desires, so outer circumstances unfold from an abundant inner life. The parable invites you to test your present state: are you feeding the inner house with what is needed now? If you cultivate this discipline, you awaken the memory of your true power as I AM and begin to manifest a life that reflects that inner stewardship.
Practice This Now
Sit in quiet, assume you are the faithful and wise steward of your inner house, and feel you are nourishing your thoughts and feelings as the lord watches with approval. Repeat the assumption daily until it feels real and your outer world begins to reflect the inner discipline.
