Inner Guidance Luke 12:11-12

Luke 12:11-12 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 12 in context

Scripture Focus

11And when they bring you unto the synagogues, and unto magistrates, and powers, take ye no thought how or what thing ye shall answer, or what ye shall say:
12For the Holy Ghost shall teach you in the same hour what ye ought to say.
Luke 12:11-12

Biblical Context

Facing judges and rulers, you are advised not to worry about what to answer. In that moment the Holy Spirit will teach you what to say.

Neville's Inner Vision

Luke 12:11-12 invites you to awaken to the I AM that speaks through you when you are pressed by men. The 'Holy Ghost' is not distant law but your own divine awareness, the inner faculty that knows what to say in the hour it is needed. Your judges and authorities are but mirrors of your present state of consciousness; when you assume that you are already guided, you become the living answer. The words you speak flow from that inner assurance rather than from fear or memory. To practice this, you do not strive to remember lines; you revise your sense of self until the sense of separation dissolves and the Spirit is the one speaking, in the same hour. In that stillness, the Spirit teaches you, and your tongue yields what is fitting, with calm and confidence. So dwell in the I AM, and let that awareness handle the moment—your outer life will reflect the inner conviction that you are guided by God within.

Practice This Now

Close your eyes, assume you are already guided, and feel the I AM directing your words as you repeat softly, 'I am guided now.' Let that feeling linger until the inner teacher takes over your speech.
