Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
In Luke 10:9, Jesus instructs to heal the sick and tell them that the kingdom of God is near.
Neville's Inner Vision
Interpret Luke 10:9 through the Goddard lens: The healings and the proclamation are not acts performed upon others, but awakenings within the perceiver. The 'sick' you would heal are inner states of limitation, fear, or dis-ease in your own consciousness. When you listen to the command, you are asked to inhabit a different state: that the kingdom of God is near. The Kingdom is not a distant place but the awareness that you are I AM, you are the living presence of God, and that Presence is immediately available. Healing begins the moment you accept, here and now, that separation is an illusion and wholeness is your natural condition. The word 'near' implies immediacy: as you align with the I AM, you see the indicators of wholeness appearing in your life. Imagination is the tool: by assuming the state of health, by dwelling in the feeling of being one with God, you call forth healing in body, mind, and circumstance. So the outward act reflects your inner state; you heal by revising your inner narrative until the kingdom feels present in your own skin.
Practice This Now
Imaginative Act: Close your eyes, rest your hand on your heart, and repeat I AM statements until you feel the presence. Visualize the kingdom near you and allow the sensation of wholeness to rise as real.
