Entering The Inner City Kingdom

Luke 10:8-9 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Luke 10 in context

Scripture Focus

8And into whatsoever city ye enter, and they receive you, eat such things as are set before you:
9And heal the sick that are therein, and say unto them, The kingdom of God is come nigh unto you.
Luke 10:8-9

Biblical Context

In Luke 10:8-9, Jesus instructs entering cities with hospitality, healing the sick, and declaring that the kingdom of God is near.

Neville's Inner Vision

Enter the city as a state of consciousness, not a place. When you are received, you are being welcomed by your own I AM, that awareness which never lacks. The food before you represents beliefs you willingly accept—nourish them with affirmation. Healing the sick within the city is the undoing of inner illness—fear, doubt, separation—proved real by the truth that the kingdom is near, God within you, immediate and active. To proclaim that the kingdom has come near is to acknowledge your current state of sonship and unity, not an external event. Practice: in any moment, assume you are already healed and supported by the kingdom. Revise lack by repeating, 'I AM the kingdom now,' and feel the warmth of that truth in your chest as you visualize loved ones and strangers already whole. The more vividly you dwell in that state, the more the outer scene aligns with your inner conviction.

Practice This Now

Imaginative act: when you enter the next room or situation, assume the kingdom is near and feel the healing presence filling the space; mentally bless the others as already well.
