Peace in Luke's Doorway
Luke 10:5-7 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Jesus instructs to pronounce peace when entering a home; if the people are receptive, peace rests there; if not, it returns to the speaker. Stay in the same house and accept what is offered, acknowledging the value of your own work in the process.
Neville's Inner Vision
Enter the scene as a temple of your own consciousness. You speak, 'Peace be to this house,' not to the walls but to your state of awareness. The 'son of peace' is the inner condition that is ready to receive and recognize you; if that condition is present, your peace rests upon it and the room becomes a mirror of your serenity. If it is not yet present, your peace returns to you, testing your assumption and inviting you to revise your state—your I AM—until it is met. The instruction to remain in the same house is guidance to dwell in one state long enough for its good to take form; wandering to other scenes signals unsettled belief. The line about the labourer being worthy of his hire reminds you that inner work is rewarded by the outer life: by staying with the truth you project, your needs are provided for. In practice, treat every encounter as a ceremony where consciousness is acknowledged and peace is the default.
Practice This Now
Act: In a moment, imagine you enter a room and say, 'Peace be to this house.' Feel the peace resting on the space; if resistance appears, revise your state to I AM and feel it real until the room reflects your serenity.
