Biblical Context
Leviticus 9:15-17 shows the priest presenting a sin-offering goat for the people. He then offers the burnt offering and the meat offering on the altar as acts of atonement and worship.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within your imagination the temple is your mind, and you are the priest of your own consciousness. The goat of the sin offering signifies a release—an inner letting go of the old belief in separation. Slaying it in imagination is not violence but the decisive act of rewriting the story in your mind. The burnt offering represents the consecration of your will, the decision to burn away fear, doubt, and ego’s claims, and to present your entire being to the I AM in you as a living sacrifice. The meat offering, the handful burned on the altar beside the morning sacrifice, is the portion you offer into the one life you worship—your energy redirected to truth rather than to limitation. When you approach the altar in quiet, repeating inwardly, 'I AM reconciled; I AM one with God,' you return to the essential worship: obedience to the divine pattern within. These three movements—release, consecration, and offering—are the inner ritual that makes your life an accurate outward reflection of your conscious state. Remember: you are the temple; imagination creates reality; the I AM births your world.
Practice This Now
Close your eyes. Assume the role of the high priest in your mind and declare, 'I AM reconciled now,' then feel the truth settling in your body until your world reflects it.
