Leviticus 5:9-10 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
Two offerings are described: blood is sprinkled on the altar, and after the priest makes atonement for the sin, forgiveness is declared. The surface detail points to an inner mechanism: when the mind shifts through inner acts, forgiveness follows.
Neville's Inner Vision
In the inner reading, the altar stands for your own unwavering awareness—the I AM that you are. The blood drawn from the sin offering represents the exact energy of attention you apply to a mistaken belief. As you sprinkle this awareness on the side of the altar, you mark the boundary where the old state ends and the new state begins. The rest of the blood, wrung out at the bottom, signifies releasing the last residue of guilt or separation. The second offering for burnt offering embodies dedicating the whole mind to a higher state of consciousness. The priest’s act of making atonement for the sin stands for your inner self correcting the belief, aligning it with the truth of unity with God. And the promise—“it shall be forgiven”—is a declaration that forgiveness is a shift in consciousness, not an external pardon. When you dwell in the feeling of being the I AM, the impression of sin dissolves and your life harmonizes with divine life.
Practice This Now
Practice: Assume the state 'I am forgiven' and feel it as your present reality. Then revise any memory of fault by silently repeating 'I AM' and letting the sense of wholeness fill you.
