Inner Peace Offering Practice
Leviticus 3:6-11 - A Neville Goddard interpretation
Read Leviticus 3 in context
Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The passage describes offering a spotless lamb from the flock as a peace offering to the LORD, laying hands on it, slaughtering at the tabernacle, and burning the fatty parts on the altar as food for the LORD.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within the Neville lens, the outer rite becomes a map of inner conversion. The peace offering is a state of consciousness you choose and honor in imagination. The animal without blemish signifies a clean, ready mind; male or female notes that every aspect of self can be aligned. By laying the hand on the head of the offering you identify with the desired state, and the act of killing it before the tabernacle marks the withdrawal of old habits from the foreground of attention. The sprinkling of blood around the altar depicts the cleansing fluid of awareness purifying the mental space where results are formed. Removing the fat, kidneys, and other parts indicates relinquishing excess attachment and fear that would clog receptivity. The priest burning the sacrifice on the altar is consciousness itself consuming the old impression, turning your intention into fuel for manifestation. The result is that the offering becomes the food of the LORD—your life nourished by the new state. When you dwell in this imagined reality, the borders between you and the desired peace dissolve, and sovereignty returns to your I AM within.
Practice This Now
Practice: sit quietly, imagine presenting your blemish-free state to the I AM, lay your inner hand on the head of that state, and declare, "This is mine now." Then feel the relief and let that feeling color your day.
