Sanctified Things, Inner Purity

Leviticus 22:15-16 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Read Leviticus 22 in context

Scripture Focus

15And they shall not profane the holy things of the children of Israel, which they offer unto the LORD;
16Or suffer them to bear the iniquity of trespass, when they eat their holy things: for I the LORD do sanctify them.
Leviticus 22:15-16

Biblical Context

The verse commands reverence for holy offerings and declares that no one should profane these things. It also states that eating holy things does not incur guilt because the LORD sanctifies them.

Neville's Inner Vision

All the 'holy things' are states of consciousness you offer to the I AM within. When you imagine or believe you possess a sacred idea, you are not making God more holy by external rite; you are aligning your inner nature with the truth that the I AM sanctifies what you truly receive. To profane is to mingle sacred offerings with doubt, fear, or distracting thoughts; to eat them unworthily is to carry the burden of trespass by disbelieving the sanctity granted by God. The LORD's claim, I sanctify them, is your invitation to remember that your awareness already sanctifies your thoughts when you choose to dwell in a holy premise rather than a fallible habit. This is a discipline of inner separation: keep your mental offerings pristine, and the life you live will echo that sanctity. The practical method is simple: treat your imagination as an altar, assume the feeling of being sanctified by the I AM, and feel the reality of that sanctity grounding every act.

Practice This Now

Stand before the I AM and assume, 'I am sanctified,' then feel that truth as your present condition. If distracting thoughts arise, revise them to a holy premise and feel it real.
