Biblical Context
An assembly commands twelve thousand valiant men to destroy the inhabitants of Jabeshgilead, including the women and children. Among them, four hundred young virgins are found and brought to the camp at Shiloh.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the I AM gathers its faculties to enact a decisive inner purification. The twelve thousand are the conscious aspects aligned in a single purpose under the law of your covenant with self. The command to smite the inhabitants represents the mind's act of expelling old attachments and fears; the edge of the sword is discerning awareness cutting through illusion. To destroy every male and every woman who hath lain by man is to release remaining habits and beliefs that claim identity. The four hundred virgins symbolize fresh, unconditioned possibilities arising when you clear the past and move toward your inner sanctuary. You lead them to Shiloh—the inner temple where truth abides in the land of Canaan, the promised state of fulfilled assumptions. The passage, though stark on the surface, becomes a parable: the sovereign you must cleanse your inner landscape until you can receive a new covenant. Imagination shapes reality when you dwell in the I AM and the unity of law.
Practice This Now
Assume the I AM as ruler of your inner state; revise the old story of separation into unity, and feel the certainty of oneness until it is real in your chest.
