Judges 13:24

Biblical Context

A woman bears a son, names him Samson; the child grows, and the LORD blesses him.

Neville's Inner Vision

Judges 13:24 presents a birth and blessing, but in Neville's language it's your inner birth of a new self and a new capacity, Samson stands for strength consciously directed by grace. The woman who bears is your subconscious mind, receptive and fertile; the name you give the child is the meaning you assign to this emerging state. The verse says the child grew and the LORD blessed him, so the growth is not mechanical but the increasing awareness of your own I AM as the source and sponsor of this vitality. Providence is not distant; it is the inner movement of your attention, the gentle insistence of possibility that says, 'This is mine, I am it, and it is growing under grace.' By holding the assumption that the blessing is already present, you nourish the newborn state until it stands strong in your life. This is how Neville would tell you that imagination creates reality: you seed with conviction, you feel the reality now, and the outer scenes follow the inner one.

Practice This Now

Imaginative Act: Close your eyes and imagine a newborn inner strength arising from within and name it with your chosen purpose. Then feel the blessing as a warm current of grace that causes it to grow and stand strong.
