Purging the Inner Accursed
Joshua 7:11-26 - A Neville Goddard interpretation

Scripture Focus
Biblical Context
The people sinned by taking the accursed thing, which separated them from their true power. Because of this, they could not stand before their enemies until the sin was exposed and purged.
Neville's Inner Vision
Within you, the land is your mind, the enemies are fear and limitation. Israel is your waking state; the accursed thing is a hidden belief you have allowed to lodge in your tent. It is not the garment or the silver itself, but the idea that you must possess to feel safe; the belief that you are separate from the Source. When Achan hides the spoils, he submits to separation, and the whole camp feels the pressure of that inner divide, turning away from the light of God. The command to sanctify and to purge is your inner instruction to stop feeding that belief. Bring the hidden thing into the light of your I AM, confess to your higher Self, and remove it from your inner sanctuary. Then the tribe—your entire being—rises again, and the enemies fall away because you are again aligned with the One Power. The valley of Achor becomes a turning point, a place where you choose to release the past and return to consciousness as pure, undefiled Being.
Practice This Now
Assume the state of I AM and declare, 'There is no accursed thing in me; I am united with God now.' Visualize the hidden belief being brought to light and discarded, then feel your renewed alignment with your Higher Self.
